According to AEG and Live Nation, Your Ticket Status Will Depend on Your Vaccination Status

Always the industry leaders, AEG and Live Nation are requiring proof of vaccination to attend their events by the start of October.

The decision was made because of the increase of infections due to the Delta Variant and vaccine hesitancy. Concert goers aren’t the only ones who need to show their vaccine status to get in— crew working on touring shows or affiliated venues will also either need proof of vaccination or a negative test within 72 hours of the event.

Other venues are following suit, updating their policies due to the spike in Covid-19 cases to include mask mandates and hoping that these policies will help prevent another shutdown of live events and entertainment.

Your foolproof ticket into a show will be your vaccination status— and COO of AEG and chairman and CEO of AEG Presents explained it best: “I think everyone can agree that we don’t want concerts to go away again, and this is the best way to keep that from happening.”
