For those new to the world of Dante, the Dante card is a piece of hardware that allows equipment to connect to the Dante network. This network allows users to plug into a reliable ethernet connection and pass audio (and video) signal between devices. The system lowers the chances of dropouts, reduces the labor hours spent cabling, and increase flexibility on the jobsite.
Our decision to add these to all of our Allen & Heath consoles was primarily based on the projected scope of our industry. These cards are very quickly becoming industry standards when packaging sound consoles and systems. This will allow us to scale our systems and keep up with the quickly moving timetable of live event development standards.
